The CARES Act provides additional tax deductibility for charitable contributions made by December 31, 2021. If you do not itemize your deductions, you may be eligible for an "above the line" deduction of up to $300. If you itemize, you may now be able to deduct up to 100% of your adjusted gross income (AGI), up from 60%. If you donate online, you will immediately receive a thank-you email containing your tax receipt. We'll also send you a tax letter in the mail. Donors typically receive their tax letters within two weeks of when their gift arrives.
